This kind of info should be more readily available to the general public. Find out how many sex offenders live in your area in the UK. You have to jump through hoops to get it & that’s only if you have a certain job tile or simular. I’ve got nothing to hide so nothing to fear, what about you?

Thanks to the Freedom Of Information act I guess & based on Police statistics, They have compiled a list of what areas of the UK have the highest percentage of registered sex offenders living there. I’m a big fan of Sarah’s Law. Something like this existed in the USA for years I think, Megan’s Law. You should know if a sex offender lives in the neighbourhood. For the offender, the punishment must fit the crime. Keep them in the spotlight, think of it as neighbourhood watch. I’m NOT condoning any kind of vigilante action. Policing is only the job of the Police but they need information to do their job. They are not all as easy to track as Gary Glitter. Yep, I hate paedophiles even more than your run of the mill rapist. This following list is of all registered sex offenders.

I live in Reading (Thames Valley, Berkshire East)  where there’s one in 2628. Now go one better. If  only you could list them by name with a picture on a national website than the whole nation could help the Police track them if the Police lose track of them. Maybe this way they can’t find somewhere to hide & stike again so easily. A trial was started on this idea in the counties of Hampshire, Warwickshire, Cambridgeshire and Cleveland sept 2008. Only certain people can get this info. It’s not on a simple to use website that anyone can use. Heres some info on Megan’s Law in California, USA.
