Latest quango job offer goes to Gwyneth Council, North Wales who are offering a £75,000 per year position for a council official to tour local nightclubs in the small hours to tell party goers ‘how cool it is to live in Gwyneth’. At least one councillor had the thought to stand up & oppose it saying ‘What sort of person thought this up?)
Strangely, when I search for ‘Gwyneth Council’ online I can’t find a government website. I’m pretty sure the Welsh know what the Internet is!
Also checked my own councils site, Reading, but could’nt find any obvious quango jobs.

‘Gwyneth’ is actually spelt ‘Gwynedd’ – dd in Welsh is pronounced th. Here’s their website. The language on the left of the page is Welsh.
