Gordon Brown’s at it again, creating more quango non jobs and wasting more tax payers money. As if this twerp hasn’t already burdened us / the UK with enough debt to last a life time. Only last week the International Monetary Fund voted the UK as the western world country that least likely to survive this depression.
The PM has kindly given every council an £85,000 budget to hire 2 officials to promote local democracy. Estimated anual burden to the UK tax payer is about £23 million. The UK is starting to feel less & less like a democracy every day thanks to this unelected excuse for a PM. Lets not forget he was the Chancellor all that time before becoming PM. He is virtually responsible for the whole of the mess the UK has become since Labour came to power.

From what I understand, the Queen signed over British sovereignty to the EU this summer and The UK is about to be carved up into newly drawn EU districts. What is your take on this?
@ Eric Daniel Brown. It’s the first I’ve heard of this. First, the Queen s for show when it comes to politics. It’s the current Labour Government that makes policy & they have been quietly signing UK power over th Brussels for years. I believe it’s in excess of other 3000 UK laws that Brussels now controls but that figure could be a lot higher today.
I’ve tried to find some more information about this on the web but have drawn a blank. Can you provide a link to the press release for this?
@Alastair. I read this the old fashioned way – in a newspaper. Not sure which one as I try to browse as many as possible when I can.
