Heres another example of health & safety gone mad. Heavily pregnant mum Abbi Irwin was barred from getting on a bus because she was carrying 2 pots of paint.
At first she thought the bus driver was joking when they told her the brand new & unopened paint tins breached health & safety rules. The bus operators, Go North East, lamely said if a lid came off it could cause a slipping hazard or agrivate conditions such as asthma. Again, no common sense used here. Abbi had to find £7 for a cab ride home instead.
