So ok, it’s official. I’m a born dreamer. I’m a dreamer of a better life. I’m a dreamer of falling in love & living happily ever after. I’m a dreamer of world peace (John Lennon had it right, all summed up in the song ‘Imagine’)
DO YOU DREAM TO? If so post comments!
I’m a dreamer of ways to help people, to raise money for charity & the ability to travel the world I was born into & see more of it, both the good & the bad.
Charity begins at home. I’m a dreamer of ways to pay my own way in life so I can travel. What about you? I hate my current day job as a wall & floor tiler – it’s mind numbing but pays the bills, just. In this recession I see my tiling work drying up fast as more & more people can’t afford to do up their own home.
I FEAR running out of work & not being able to pay off the rest of my debt. Like I said, I pay my own way in life. It scares me that I may have to declare myself bankrupt to clear my debts after 5 years of a shit life trying to pay it off. To not be able to clear the remaining debt would just kill me inside. It would be like I wasted the last 5 years of my life trying to do the right thing & be responsible for my situation. It’s my biggest fear, the fear of not being able to do it on my own. I’m a born dreamer & I don’t want that!
I dream of this blog making enough to enable me to pay my own way through life! I don’t have to be a millionaire, just enough to cover the bills in my ‘non bling’ lifestyle will do.
What do you secretly dream of? Are some of your dreams the same as mine? I dream of a fulfilling career in aid work or charity fundraising, hence the domain name of my blog. I’ll never get there tiling. To get into this career I must be able to pay my own way & volunteer. I cant commit to volunteer work while I need to be able to tile whenever the work is available. Am I missing something? Should I be doing something in my life differently to get where I want to be in life as a born dreamer?
I’m not a doctor or qualified in any way to get a paid job that aids people. I’m basically a problem solver, adaptable to situations. I feel this is a great attribute to have as an aid worker on the ground. Of course if I was you reading this blog I’d be thinking ‘well, if your such a good problem solver why havn’t you figured out how to pay your way through life already?’
This is my current dilema I guess. Any ideas? I’ve tried networking / mlm & many other online income ideas. I was always one of the 95% that failed & lost money. I guess now its time to just blog my thoughts & see if anyone out there in cyberland is interested in the fact I’m a dreamer & what I’ve got to see. I am opinionated, give me a try! Ask me about something I the world & I’ll give you my dreamers views in this blog.
Want help or advice? Give mne a try! I’ll just be honest in my response.
Be a dreamer yourself. Don’t stop dreaming. If it wasn’t for dreamers nothing we take for granted in our everyday lives would have been invented!
