Just got the results of the tests on the 3 polyps removed during my sigmoidoscopy this morning. This blog relates to my sigmoidoscopy & polyps post about 3 weeks ago. First, as yet I have not be diagnosed with cancer but of the two types of polyps found one, a tubular adenoma, can grow to become cancerous. The other non cancerous type was hyperplastic.

This means I’ve got to set up an appointment for a full colonoscopy. Who knows what type of polyps will be found if any and how many. Time will tell.
