Unfortunately I’m unable to do any micro philanthropy this month. I’ve barely earned enough to cover my own bills. Add to that it’s MOT & road tax month and I’m pretty much broke. Also not sure how I’m going to make my ‘donation’ of £600 to the taxman by the end of the month. If you think £600 doesn’t sound like much please bear in mind I’m a self employed wall and floor tiler and so have also had over £3000 in taxable expenses for the 2009 – 2010 year.
I sure hope more tiling work comes in soon as I’ve still got to find next months rent as well! January is always slow for work as most people are still recovering financially from the cost of Christmas. On the positive side at least I’ve no longer got any credit card debt as I’ve been debt free at last since last November.
I’m sure hoping I can get back to micro philanthroy by the end of Febuary at the latest.
