Hello,  this is a dreamers blog. Read what ever I blog a few times & think about what I say. I’m a straight – talking bloke that is often misunderstood. Through my blog you get the chance to understand what I’m trying to say.

In an ever more complicated world I like to keep things simple. That includes my blogging, which tend to be short & straight to the point. I hope that one day my blog will earn me just enough of a wage that I can blog for a living. I’m aiming for summer 2010, when I should have cleared my debts & need less to live on. Meanwhile read on to get an idea of how I think.

Political Correctness – OUT! Old fashioned COMMON SENCE …. IN!

Aid Renegade is an evolution of myself, a born dreamer from Reading, UK.   I keep seeing & reading about really stupid stories about PC gone mad & life. What ever happened to common sense? All PC is good for now is making lawers richer and this PC culture, combined with UK nanny state rules, is slowly creating a generation of  people numb to whats happening. They’ve been part of the PC culture for so long. I just wish i could help! Keep it simple! The whole human race has made life too complicated for it’s own good.

Political Correctness is the ‘Anti – Christ’ to tolerance & common sense and we must not let PC win or we are all going to suffer. I’ll try to blog about the stories I hear & build up a reference point of them.

Here’s a saying my late parents taught me.

“Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me”

We all have different views on certain things. It doesn’t mean we always have to start fighting over them. In many instances fighting just shows a lack of tolerance. That’s not to say that sometimes the fight must happen as a last resort. Don’t stop dreaming of a peaceful resolution to the problem.

When I got back to the UK in 2004 I just couldn’t believe the state of the Uk back then, let alone now (Jan 2009). My choice in life is that of Aethist as believing in yourself , your own abilities and doing your best to use them is the only way you’re going to get anywhere in life. Your biggest strengh is to recognise your own weaknesses! Keep them to yourself till you figure out how to use them to your own advantage. When things are going right for you pat yourself on the back!

Charity begins at home. It’s a version of self empowerment. Regardless of your religion (if you still believe in one)  you must just think of yourself first.

Look after yourself emotionally & financially & then your qualified to do the ‘right thing’ & help others. Be a dreamer!

I’m just a world travelled, peace loving kind of guy! It’s just a shame so many people use religion as an excuse to segregate one group of people from another and then cause so much death. To the rest of you non-violent religious people – peace! Embrace other cultures even if you don’t agree with them or even understand them. It will make you a better human being,

I’m a proud member of the biggest mammal group on the planet – the human race.  I try to be reasonably polite & treat people I meet as my equal unless they prove to be different. Don’t think I’m some kind of  ‘high & mighty goody two shoes’. I still smoke (but trying to quit sometimes)  & I still like a few drinks! I’m not rich, I’m just trying to get by in life like the rest of you.

I call myself ‘English’ for a reason & it’s not thanks to England. My time on cruise ships was, well, special. Southerner’s & Northener’s alike, we all partied in the crew bar. We all had a laugh. In no particular order – Welsh, Irish & Scottish partied with us – THAT LAST SENTENCE WAS WRONG!

I MEAN WE ALL PARTIED TOGETHER!

My point? I signed on my first ship ‘British’ but was impressed by the fact that all the Welsh, Irish & Scottish were proud to be part of their country. That taught me something. I’m English first, not British. I’m proud to be English too! It’s just a shame that England currently ‘sucks’ as a country.  I now know not to judge someone based on where they come from. I just judge them on how they act or what they do.

What goes around comes around. Bad guys – you can change. Let’s face it, if you’ve chosen career that is that bad you know somone in the same ‘social arena’ wants your position. What will another bad guy do to get it? Like I said, WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND.

Personally, I’d prefer to die of old age, not a bullet or bomb…. What about you?

PS – Out with nanny state Labour! Labour – a long, painfull drawn out process that usually ends in tears.

PPS – The late John Lennon had it right with his classic song ‘Imagine’. Search for it online & play it. Listen to the lyrics. & form your own opinion! Think for your self. Better yourself. Be a dreamer! It’s your choice in life. Just don’t be a wimp & blame others when it doesn’t work out the first time. We all have a voice. This blog is mine.

PPPS  – Find your own voice! Then believe in it. If you better yourself at others expense, wether it be through ‘thieft’ or lesser crimes it will catch up to you. What goes around comes around, normally when you least expect it.
