I’ve started bringing in the first harvest of the year, Kelvedon Wonder peas, runner beans and the first King Edward potatoes. The pea harvest is already over, only got 3 little containers of peas for all the effort. I’ll be trying a different type of pea next year. Many of the first potatoes were quite small so I’ve upped my watering on the rest to help them swell up a bit. Finally the runner beans are looking good so far, they look like being a success story for my first year.
This equals a third of my pea harvest below:
I topped and tailed my runner beans ready for cooking:
That’s all for now, I’m hoping my next potatoes dug up will be bigger.
