My work life is almost a mirror image of a Dilbert cartoon. It’s funny when you enjoy it with a side of bacon and eggs on a Saturday morning, but the absurdity of the workplace — when you’re in it — makes it tough to deal with. Example (and this is just one of dozens): Set a due date for a software project, then develop the software, then write the technical specification, *then* have a meeting to decide how we want it to work.
I laughed the first few times we went though this ass-backwards exercise but now I’m just stunned that management still thinks this somehow makes sense.

Blogged about it, linked to it, and for good measure threw in a Digg as well. Thanks for the effort.

Feeling quite passionate about good working relations and team work we have developed a site for this very topic, not sure where it’ll go but we feel awards and trophies for bad bosses can bring peoples attention to Bosses that Suck, wear a My Boss Sucks t-shirt with pride and don;t be afraid of getting the sack!

Isn’t this the problem? Fear of bullies and people who are just using their perceived power to make other people miserable. So if you do get the sack for wearing a t-shirt stating my boss sucks we’ll get another site up and running ican work. it’s a vicious circle.
