Have you seen the new UK Postman Pat Specsavers ad? Postman Pat is an established kiddies favourate TV programme from long ago when they made proper childrens TV programmes unlike some of the rubbish you see today.

Anyway, I thought it was just me at first but I’m sure theres a major continuity error in the ad. You’d expect better from the makers of Postman Pat!

Heres some Postman Pat links if you don’t know who he is.

Postman Pat UK

Postman Pat Canada

Did you catch the error? actually it may not be an error at all but at a glance it looks like he picks up the mail then drives away leaving the veg. The mail is actually half in the shot on the right as he drives away.

Is it just my wierd brain or did anyone else think there was a continuity error at first?

Update Sept 22nd 2009: If you watch the vid online you see bags of mail on the far right side of screen. When I watch the ad on my widescreen TV you don’t see thes bags, just the bags of veg. This makes the video look like Pats picked up the veg & left the mail then next shot it’s the veg thats left behind.
